Telemedia may have changed over the years, but there is still a strong ‘numbers’ business underpinning it and that has drawn two telemedia veterans who left the industry in 2019 back with two new ventures.
Marco Dunhof and Johan van de Lijcke – formerly the brains behind Telserv – are returning to the telecom space to deliver high quality number solutions and services, launching two new companies – DID Telecom and PRS Telco.
Through DID Telecom they will focus on and deliver: DID’s/Geo numbers, VoIP numbers, Two-Way Voice numbers for Unified Communications)/PSTN replacement, Toll-Free/Freephone numbers/1-800 numbers/800 numbers, mobile numbers (with SMS) and UIFN/Universal International Toll-Free Numbers.
A similar approach is for PRS Telco, where they will focus on and deliver: Domestic Premium Rate numbers / 900 numbers and Shared cost numbers.
Marco and Johan are already building the network which is ready for performance soon. They will offer a network with switches/SBCs in London, UK, Ashburn, Miami, USA, and Hong Kong, and more to follow. The network will of course be fully redundant.
The pair are currently in the process of establishing the teams, websites and interconnections with Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators worldwide. In parallel, they are setting up a 24/7 help desk to deliver the level of support clients expect. Their support team will proactively monitor the platform’s health and oversee key call performance indicators (KPIs). Customers and suppliers will be able to reach us directly via phone or email- because for us, it’s essential that clients speak with a real person, not a chatbot.
The goal is simple, they tell us: 100% customer satisfaction. With more than 30 years of experience in the telecom industry, Marco and Johan have the highest confidence in their ability to build something exceptional. We wish them well and look forward to seeing them out and about.
After selling Telserv in August 2019, Marco Dunhof and Johan van de Lijcke stepped away from the telecom industry. They took time to focus on their families, enjoy quality time, and reflect on the journey so far, whilst also helping out younger entrepreneurs with their ventures. Now, with a renewed sense of purpose, Marco and Johan feel ready for a new challenge-ideally back in the telecom space. Where Marco misses the conventions, the conversations, and above all, the people, Johan feels his innovative ideas will create new opportunities for their customers.
