MCP Insight will demonstrate the latest evolution of its anti-fraud capabilities at World Telemedia Marbella, taking place from4-6 October 2026 – register to attend here. The release strengthens the evidence available behind fraud decisions and makes it easier for risk, operational and commercial teams to understand what happened, why action was taken and what should happen next.
Known to customers as MCP SHIELD, the service is being developed as part of a more connected MCP Insight platform spanning customer journey monitoring, market intelligence and risk management.
The development reflects a simple principle: a block is not automatically a good decision. Effective fraud prevention must identify genuine risk without creating avoidable friction for legitimate customers. It should also give teams the evidence toinvestigate decisions, discuss them with partners and assess their wider commercial impact.
Continuous improvement throughout 2026
The Marbella launch is the next stage in a programme of continuous improvement introduced during 2026. Earlier in the year, MCP Insight released a more efficient version of its fraud-detection JavaScript snippet. The optimised script was designed toreduce its effect on page performance while retaining the same fraud-prevention role.
MCP Insight also launched a redesigned documentation site to make implementation and day-to-day use easier. It includes guidance on segmenting traffic by source and campaign, comprehensive API documentation, eight documented integration variations, search, testing guidance, common pitfalls and recommended practices.
The service has also reached a significant operational milestone and is now analysing more than 150 million customer journeys every day for indicators of fraud.
A clearer, more explainable experience
At World Telemedia Marbella, MCP Insight plans to demonstrate an updated experience centred on four connected capabilities:
- A clearer, more intuitive interface designed to support faster investigation and more effective
- Automated integration checks that help teams identify implementation issues
- Alert notifications and AI-assisted investigation to help users surface, understand and triage issues more
- Outcomes API that enables carriers to compare their transaction records with activity recorded by the
The updated experience will also introduce an AI assistant designed to help users interrogate the available evidence, answer routine questions and investigate suspicious activity more efficiently. The assistant supports the investigation process while leaving the final decision with the fraud or risk team.
Together, these capabilities create a clearer path from an event being flagged to it being investigated, explained and actioned. They are intended to help fraud and risk specialists work from the same evidence as account, commercial and operational teams – turning an anti-fraud alert into an informed business decision.
“Fraud prevention should not be judged by the number of blocks alone,” says Kev Dwson, CEO, MCP Insight. “[Our] Customers need to understand the evidence behind a decision, respond to genuine risk and consider the effect on legitimate activity. These improvements are designed to make that process clearer, faster and more useful across the business.”
Building towards measurable, adaptable decisions
The new anomaly evidence will also provide the foundation for analysing how blocking logic behaves in practice. MCP Insight’s subsequent development phase is focused on more flexible, risk-based and measurable decision logic, allowing future adjustments to be assessed against evidence rather than relying on a rigid approach.
This direction supports MCP Insight’s wider move towards a unified platform: connecting market visibility, technicalmonitoring and fraud-risk evidence so customers can investigate issues with greater context and move more confidently from insight to action.
